When clients search for custom wardrobes Dubai, they are usually picturing one of five very different things. Here is exactly what we build, so you know before you call whether we are the right trade for your job.
The workhorse of UAE bedrooms. A fitted wardrobe is manufactured to the exact width, height and depth of your wall opening, scribed to the skirting and ceiling, and fixed permanently in place. There are no dust gaps at the top, no wasted 40mm shadow line at the sides, and no wobble. We build them in single runs from 1.2m up to full 8m walls, with carcass depths of 600mm (standard hanging) or 450mm (shallow, for tight apartment bedrooms and corridors).
A walk-in closet is a room-scale joinery project. We produce open-front modular towers, hanging bays with LED-lit rails, glass-fronted display units for bags and watches, dressing islands with felt-lined drawers, and full-height shoe walls. Layouts follow a U-shape, L-shape, galley or single-wall plan depending on your floor area, with a minimum 900mm to 1,100mm clear walkway between opposing runs so drawers can open fully.
Door type dictates cost, usability and how the room feels more than any other single decision. We manufacture and hang all three main systems, matched to the room rather than to a catalogue.
The same workshop, the same joiners and the same finishes extend well past the bedroom. We build TV and media walls, living-room storage and display units, home-office desks with cable management and drawer pedestals, entryway shoe and coat cabinets, under-stair storage, laundry and utility cupboards, linen presses, bar units, and library and bookshelf walls.
Free-standing joinery pieces made to match the room: dressing islands with glass or stone tops and velvet-lined jewellery inserts, wall-hung vanity units with integrated LED mirrors, and slim dressing consoles for bedrooms where a full island will not fit.
We are quoting joinery and carpentry here. If your project also needs the walls moved, the gypsum partition built, the ceiling dropped, the lighting circuit pulled, the marble laid or the room painted, we absolutely do all of that — but those are separate trades on a separate scope line. Ask us for a combined fit-out quotation and we will price the whole room as one package rather than pretending it is all cabinetry.
A wardrobe is two decisions stacked on top of each other — what the box is made of, and what the surface you actually see and touch is made of. Most quotations in Dubai are won and lost on the first one, because it is invisible.

You touch the hardware every single day and never touch the carcass. We specify European hardware as standard, not as an upgrade: soft-close concealed hinges, full-extension undermount drawer runners rated to 40kg, aluminium hanging rails, and anti-jump sliding gear. Our default brands are Blum and Häfele, both of which have full Dubai service and spare-parts availability — which matters far more than the brand name when you need one runner replaced in year six.
This is the part most catalogues skip. A Dubai bedroom cycles between 22°C conditioned air and a 45°C ambient every time a balcony door opens, and coastal communities like Palm Jumeirah, JBR and Mina Al Arab carry serious airborne salt and humidity. Three things follow from that. First, we edge-band all six sides of every panel — including the hidden back edges — so moisture cannot get into the core. Second, we use MR-grade board and marine ply anywhere near an external wall, a bathroom wall or a ground floor. Third, we leave a deliberate 10mm ventilation gap behind the carcass against external walls so condensation cannot get trapped. Wardrobes that swell, delaminate or smell musty after two summers almost always failed on one of those three points.

Dubai joinery is priced per square metre of wardrobe elevation — the visible front face, calculated as width multiplied by height. A 4m wide wall at 2.8m ceiling height is 11.2 sqm, so a veneer wardrobe at AED 1,400/sqm lands around AED 15,700. Clients often ask where the material actually comes from. Dubai has a mature timber and panel trade, concentrated in a few districts, and knowing the landscape helps you read a quotation properly. We buy directly from importers and authorised distributors rather than through retail, which is a large part of why workshop-made joinery is competitive against imported flat-pack.

Custom wardrobes in Dubai are priced per square metre of front elevation. Expect AED 500–800 per sqm for melamine, AED 1,100–1,800 per sqm for natural wood veneer, and AED 2,000–3,500 per sqm for solid timber or heavily detailed panelling. A typical 3m bedroom wall run lands between AED 9,000 and AED 22,000, and a full walk-in closet between AED 25,000 and AED 180,000 depending on room size and specification. All prices exclude 5% VAT.
A standard bedroom wardrobe takes 12 to 20 working days from design approval to installation, with fitting completed in one to three days on site. A full walk-in closet or dressing room typically takes four to eight weeks. Lead times depend on finish — sprayed lacquer and veneer need longer than laminate because of the finishing and curing stages.
We manufacture everything in our own joinery workshop in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 2, Dubai. Cutting, edge-banding, CNC boring, assembly and spray finishing are all done in-house by our own joiners. Nothing is subcontracted to a third-party factory, which is why we can commit to fixed lead times and stand behind the warranty directly.
For most Dubai bedrooms, moisture-resistant MDF for doors with a commercial or marine plywood carcass gives the best balance of stability and cost. For ground-floor villas, coastal properties on Palm Jumeirah or Mina Al Arab, and any wall shared with a bathroom, we specify marine or BWP-grade plywood throughout. Full six-sided edge banding and a ventilation gap behind the carcass matter as much as the board grade itself.
Choose hinged doors if you have 600mm of clear floor in front of the wardrobe — they cost less and expose the entire opening at once. Choose sliding doors when the bedroom is narrow, when a bed or dresser sits close to the wardrobe wall, or when you want mirror-faced leaves. The trade-off is that a sliding wardrobe only ever gives you access to half its width at a time.
Yes. If the room is large enough, the most common approach is a partition that separates a dressing area from the sleeping area, with open-front joinery towers inside it. The joinery is our scope; the partition, ceiling, lighting and paintwork are separate trades — all of which we also carry in-house, so we can quote the room as one complete package rather than sending you to three companies.
In most Dubai towers and gated communities, yes. Owners Associations and developers usually require a contractor NOC, a valid trade licence, third-party liability insurance and approved working hours before any fit-out work starts. We prepare and submit this documentation on your behalf as part of the project, at no additional cost.
Yes. After the free site survey you receive a scaled elevation drawing and a photorealistic 3D render in your selected finish. A standalone 3D design package is AED 1,500–3,500 per room if you only want the design, and that fee is waived entirely when you proceed with the manufacturing order.
We provide a written warranty on our workmanship and installation, and pass through the full manufacturer warranty on European hardware — Blum, for example, warrants its hinge and drawer systems for the lifetime of the furniture under normal domestic use. Hinge and runner adjustments within the warranty period are carried out free of charge.
Usually, yes. We take a physical sample or high-resolution photograph of your existing doors, kitchen or flooring and match veneer species, stain, sheen level and handle profile in our workshop. Exact matches are easiest with laminate and lacquer; natural veneer will always vary slightly because it is real timber, so we book-match new work to sit deliberately alongside rather than pretend to be identical.
Yes. We deliver and install across all seven emirates — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Projects in the northern emirates and Abu Dhabi carry a mobilisation allowance, which is stated clearly in the quotation rather than hidden in the rate.
There is no formal minimum, but a single small unit rarely justifies the mobilisation cost for either of us. In practice, our smallest sensible jobs are a single two-door wardrobe from around AED 3,500 or a compact entryway cabinet from around AED 4,000. For anything smaller, we are happy to tell you honestly that a local carpenter will serve you better.
